Job summary

BETA Group, Inc. in New England seeks an experienced GIS Project Manager to lead projects from kickoff through completion, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables, and build strong relationships with municipal and state clients across New England.

You will guide the design and implementation of Esri-based GIS solutions, lead a multidisciplinary team, mentor staff, and help shape GIS strategy while advancing automation and innovative workflows.

Qualifications

• 14+ years’ experience using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online for advanced geospatial analysis and project execution.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Strong experience with ESRI technologies including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experience Builder, Survey123/Survey123 Connect, Field Maps.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for automation and data processing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS projects from kickoff through completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Serve as primary GIS project contact for municipal and state clients across New England.
• Direct teams in design and implementation of Esri-based GIS solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in GIS databases, applications, mapping products, and data management.
• Oversee data collection, processing, analysis, and QA/QC of complex geospatial data.
• Mentor GIS staff and support professional development.
• Support business development efforts related to GIS services.
