Job summary

VHB is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst/Project Manager to join our New England team. Hybrid work options include MA, RI, or CT offices. You will lead GIS projects, mentor staff, and expand client relationships across transportation, DOTs, municipalities, and federal agencies.

You should be proficient in Esri ArcGIS Suite and database management, with strong leadership and budget-estimating skills to drive proposals and deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional GIS experience, including at least 4 years in project management.
BS in GIS, Engineering, Planning, or Geography; Master’s preferred.
GISP certification preferred.
Extensive experience with Esri ArcGIS Platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise).

Responsibilities

Manage GIS projects to deliver on time and within budget.
Support business development and client relationships.
Collaborate with teams to develop end‑user GIS applications.
Provide technical direction and mentor junior staff.
Prepare scopes of work and budget estimates for proposals.
Perform quality control on deliverables.
