Job summary

VHB, a New England based firm, seeks a Senior GIS Analyst/Project Manager to lead GIS projects across transportation, municipal and federal clients. The role offers hybrid work options from our Providence, RI office or other NE offices, with collaboration across disciplines.

You will mentor junior GIS staff, manage scopes and budgets, and drive data-driven solutions using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps and related tools. A strong client-facing outlook is essential for success.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience utilizing GIS technology, including at least 4 years of project management.
BS in GIS, Engineering, Planning, or Geography. Master’s degree preferred and may be substituted for 1-2 years of experience.
GISP certification preferred and ArcGIS Platform expertise required.

Responsibilities

Lead GIS projects from kickoff to delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
Mentor junior GIS staff and project team members.
Collaborate with software engineers, GIS professionals, and stakeholders to support spatial data processes.
Provide time estimates, scopes of work, and budget estimates for proposals and RFPs.
Perform quality control checks on work products.
