Job summary

Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Program across the Hanford Site, including DOE and contractors. You will plan, execute, and deliver GIS projects aligned with organizational goals and drive results through collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT or GIS project management experience.
• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable technical plans.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS program projects from inception through completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans with requirements gathering, risk assessment, and milestone tracking.
• Mentor and coordinate project teams; foster a collaborative, results-driven environment.
• Communicate with stakeholders and customers; align objectives with business and technical goals.
• Ensure documentation and regular reporting; drive process improvement and change management.
• Stay current on project management best practices and GIS technology trends.
