Job summary

CMCOM is seeking an Enterprise GIS Program Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership for a large-scale GIS program across aviation, tunnels, bridges, and rail transit. The role requires deep experience with Esri Enterprise GIS, data governance, and systems integration, including asset-management ties with IBM Maximo or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, CS, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum ten years of progressively responsible enterprise GIS leadership experience.
• Extensive experience with Esri Enterprise technologies and enterprise GIS architecture.
• Experience integrating GIS with asset-management platforms (IBM Maximo, Infor, etc.).
• Experience integrating BIM, CAD, LiDAR, and other enterprise systems with GIS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud GIS and enterprise integration technologies.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate with executives.
• Ability to work four days onsite in Lower Manhattan.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise GIS program strategy, governance, and modernization.
• Direct GIS staff, consultants, and technology platforms across programs.
• Coordinate GIS initiatives with engineering, IT, operations, and asset management.
• Present technical strategies, risks, and plans to senior stakeholders.
• Develop data models, standards, and centralized geospatial repositories.
• Integrate GIS with asset-management, BIM/CAD, LiDAR, and analytics systems.
• Represent GIS leadership in executive- and client-facing settings.
