Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Senior IT/Technology Project Manager with GIS project experience to lead a large-scale modernization initiative. You will own design phase outcomes, support business case development, and drive the project to go-live and closeout.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of IT/Tech PM experience, GIS project delivery, and hands-on leadership of cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders in a Waterfall SDLC environment. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT/Technology Project Management experience with GIS projects.
• Proven success delivering large-scale enterprise technology/software projects.
• Experience leading projects from initiation through go-live and closeout.
• Experience managing enterprise software implementations, upgrades, migrations, or conversions.
• Strong knowledge of Waterfall SDLC and stage-gate governance.
• Hands-on leadership with third-party vendors and system integrators.

Responsabilités

• Lead GIS technology initiative from design phase to go-live and closeout.
• Assess status, risks, dependencies, and priorities and build a roadmap.
• Develop an integrated project plan with resource-loaded schedules.
• Coordinate across GIS teams, IT groups, architects, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Manage scope, schedule, risk, issues, and dependencies with accountability.
• Translate GIS/technical information into executive-level decisions.
• Provide transparent project reporting to leadership and sponsors.
• Support business case development, timelines, and cost estimates.
