Invenergy is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager, GIS to drive geospatial strategy and data governance across project lifecycles. Lead a team of GIS professionals, collaborate with engineering, development, and environmental permitting to deliver accurate map products.

This leadership role emphasizes people, process, and cross‑functional impact, empowering teams to improve data quality, streamline workflows, and shape the future of GIS at Invenergy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geography, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional GIS leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects.
• Strong data management and governance experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ESRI GIS products (ArcGIS Pro, Online, Enterprise).
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of GIS analysts and technicians.
• Serve as strategic liaison between GIS and engineering, development, and permitting teams.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to align geospatial workflows with goals.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across teams.
• Participate in GIS data governance standards and quality control.
• Define geospatial requirements for scopes of work, contracts, and deliverables.
