Job summary
Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, GIS to guide a team of GIS professionals and drive geospatial strategy across the project lifecycle.
You will partner with engineering, development, and environmental permitting teams to ensure data integrity and high-quality map deliverables, while shaping workflows for efficiency and automation. The role is based in Chicago with a hybrid schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geography, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in similar positions.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects.
- Strong understanding of data management and governance.
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a GIS team, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
- Serve as liaison between GIS and other business units.
- Align geospatial workflows with project and organizational goals.
- Define data governance standards and quality controls.
- Identify and implement workflow automation and integrations.
- Present complex geospatial concepts to diverse audiences.
