Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a motivated Geospatial Analyst to join our Engineering & GIS team in Chicago. This entry-level role offers growth by supporting siting, permitting, and design through GIS workflows across energy projects.

You will learn to manage data, deliver maps, and collaborate with Development, Engineering, Environmental, and Land teams while advancing in GIS software and renewable energy workflows. Strong ESRI skills and a detail-oriented mindset are valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field.
Proficiency with ESRI software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Enterprise).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Collaborative Mapping & Data Support: deliver maps, data, and interactive products with teams.
Project & Workflow Support: assist with data integration, surveys, and environmental datasets.
Data Management & Learning: maintain centralized GIS databases and metadata practices.
Team Contribution & Growth: participate in meetings and skill development in GIS workflows.
