Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks an experienced Senior IT/Technology Project Manager with GIS experience to drive a large-scale modernization initiative. You will own the design-to-closeout lifecycle, coordinate GIS, IT, and vendor teams, and deliver measurable outcomes through a structured Waterfall SDLC.

The role requires strong executive communication skills and the ability to translate GIS details into business decisions, with a focus on plan accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT/Technology Project Management experience, with GIS experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing GIS-related technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of Waterfall SDLC and structured delivery methodologies.
• Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project and detailed, resource-loaded schedules.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS technology initiatives from design through go-live and closeout.
• Assess project status, risks, constraints, dependencies, and priorities.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and roadmaps.
• Coordinate across GIS, IT, architects, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Manage scope, schedule, risk, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Provide governance, reporting, and executive communications.
