Job summary

Tacoma Power is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with advanced GIS expertise to support the Engineering Projects and Services group within the Transmission & Distribution section. The role focuses on GIS data in the Esri Utility Network and requires strong knowledge of electrical power systems.

Responsibilities include acting as SME, developing documentation, leading QA for a digital twin of the network, and providing end-user training as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in public/business administration, information technology or directly related field.
• 4 years of progressively responsible analytical and/or functional analyst experience in related area.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage Tacoma Power’s T&D GIS data in the Esri Utility Network.
• Serve as SME and liaison between EPS and T&D Product Owner, Supervisors and UTS on GIS items including testing and enhancements.
• Develop, update, and maintain staff procedures and workflow documentation.
• Lead GIS efforts to ensure a digital twin of the transmission and distribution network through QA measures.
• Provide end user training on related systems and process updates as assigned.
