Job summary

Tesla Government Inc. is seeking a GIS Developer / Enterprise Specialist to design, implement, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise environments and geospatial workflows.

You will develop web mapping applications, dashboards, and data products, integrating real-time data and ensuring security, performance, and reliability across enterprise GIS infrastructure. The role emphasizes Python scripting, automation, and collaboration with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to deliver robust GIS solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience deploying and administering Esri Enterprise software (ArcGIS Enterprise or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise GIS environments in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Review and guide enterprise GIS system architecture for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate to deploy and maintain client-facing GIS applications and services.
• Develop Python scripts and automated workflows for geoprocessing and data management.
• Support data publishing, service configuration, and system administration.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Establish governance standards for GIS architecture, security, and usage.
• Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluate Esri, open-source, and third-party technologies to extend GIS capabilities.
• Develop technical documentation and training materials.
