Job summary

Requires a 4-year degree and 5+ years in municipal GIS; ArcGIS expertise, scripting in Python/T-SQL/JavaScript, and strong data modeling are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering/Technology, Geography, GIS or related field; GIS certification preferred.
• Five or more years of experience with a municipal Enterprise GIS; Esri ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience.
• Texas driver’s license within 90 days of employment; Esri Certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS suite, Python, SQL, and web mapping technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain enterprise GIS applications and dashboards using ArcGIS.
• Automate GIS workflows and integrate datasets with EAM, EPL, and LMS.
• Administer ArcGIS Server Enterprise; monitor performance and tune systems.
• Develop REST services and API integrations between GIS platforms.
• Provide end-user support, training, and documentation; mentor staff.
