Job summary
Infosys is seeking a Domain Consultant 2 with GIS expertise to design, develop, configure, test, implement, and support enterprise GIS solutions using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise across transportation, utilities, environmental, and infrastructure domains.
The role requires hands‑on experience with ArcGIS components, strong Python skills, and collaboration across cross‑functional teams in Oakland, CA. Relocation/travel may be necessary and a Bachelor's degree is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or progressive experience in GIS.
- Experience designing and implementing Esri ArcGIS Enterprise solutions.
- Strong Python coding and geospatial data management capabilities.
- Ability to document workflows and provide technical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze client geospatial needs and implement ArcGIS Enterprise solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document SOPs and workflows.
- Coordinate implementation and post‑deployment support for GIS systems.
- Research third‑party GIS tools and compare features and costs.
- Maintain system stability and performance through configuration and tuning.
