City Utilities of Springfield is seeking a GIS expert to manage the enterprise GIS lifecycle, oversee data integrity, and lead GIS staff across multiple utilities. You will design scalable GIS infrastructure, automate geoprocessing, and support users with ArcGIS Pro/Server/Online, ArcSDE, and data interoperability tools.
The role emphasizes system security, cross‑department collaboration, and training Engineers, designers, and field staff.
Qualificações
- Bachelor’s degree in geospatial sciences or related field.
- Minimum five years of utility GIS experience in engineering or operations.
- Strong ArcGIS knowledge including ArcGIS Pro/Server/Online/Portal/ArcSDE.
- Proficiency with Python, Model Builder, and Arcade scripting.
- Experience with Spatial FME and ETL/ELT workflows preferred.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
Responsabilidades
- Manage the full lifecycle of City Utilities’ GIS enterprise system.
- Maintain data quality, network integrity, and security controls.
- Lead, train, and supervise GIS staff and engineers/designers.
- Develop workflows, automate geoprocessing, and build reports.
- Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems and ensure scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and support for internal/external customers.
