Job summary

Cloudpoint Geospatial seeks a Senior GIS Analyst to lead ArcGIS Utility Network data migration projects, assess legacy data, configure and load the Utility Network, and mentor other GIS staff.

This in‑house expert will coordinate with project managers, develop repeatable migration workflows, run QA/QC, train teammates, and stay current with Esri releases, while supporting remote work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of professional GIS experience, preferably with utility projects.
• 2+ years with ArcGIS Utility Network, including at least one migration.
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Understanding of geodatabases, data modeling and network connectivity.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor others, with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead on Utility Network data migration projects from assessment to go‑live.
• Assess existing utility data and identify gaps, errors, and topology issues.
• Clean and prepare data for migration, standardizing attributes and fixing connectivity.
• Map legacy schemas to Esri Utility Network foundations and assets.
• Load data using Esri tools, FME, Python, or other appropriate tools.
• Enable topology, resolve dirty areas, and configure subnetworks and traces.
• Develop, document, and improve standardized migration workflows and scripts.
• Train and mentor GIS staff on Utility Network concepts and workflows.
