Job summary

Accenture PLC seeks a senior ArcGIS Solution Architect to lead the migration of legacy GIS systems to ArcGIS Utility Network for electric and gas utilities. You will guide strategy, design, and integrations across business processes and IT landscapes.

This role requires deep utility domain knowledge, hands-on ArcGIS work, and the ability to align GIS with enterprise systems. Travel to major cities near Accenture offices is expected.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in utility GIS solution architecture.
Full lifecycle ArcGIS Utility Network implementations.
Hybrid background in utility operations and enterprise GIS integration.
Experience integrating GIS with enterprise systems (EAM, OMS, WMS).

Responsibilities

Serve as lead solution architect and functional advisor for ArcGIS Utility Network implementation.
Define target Utility Network processes, apps, integrations, and governance patterns.
Lead best practice migrations from legacy network models to ArcGIS Utility Network.
Translate utility requirements into scalable GIS workflows, services, and integrations.
Ensure GIS supports end-to-end utility workflows from planning to asset management.
Provide functional leadership to delivery teams ensuring quality and continuity.
Articulate best practices, risks, and lessons learned from similar implementations.
