Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Warrendale, PA, seeks a Supervisor, GIC Engineering Controls to lead a team of 10+ engineers focused on AP1000, AP300, eVinci and legacy analog control systems. You will oversee configuration and requirements management using IBM DOORS and guide cross-functional engineering activities within the Global Instrumentation & Control organization.

You will report to the Manager Systems & Process Engineering and operate on a hybrid schedule at the Warrendale, PA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 7+ years of professional experience in engineering/technology-based industries.
• Minimum 5 years experience in an engineering design or development role.
• Minimum 2 years experience in people management or project management with resource direction responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises 10+ employees, typically exempt-level.
• Directs hiring, firing and promotion decisions.
• Collaborates with product line management, sales and customers to complete project scope.
• Maintains regular communication with management levels.
• Maintains customer relationships by addressing concerns and issues.
• Ensures work activities comply with Westinghouse procedures.
• Identifies resource needs and justifications.
• Develops and manages department budgets or business plans.
• Provides cross-functional technical support for other areas and product development.
