Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst for Sustainability Advisory to lead end-to-end GHG accounting for the firm’s own operations and value chain. You will manage data collection, calculations, and reporting, ensuring audit-ready inventories and alignment with global standards.

You will partner with Controllership, Procurement, and other teams, supporting decarbonization insights while enabling the growth of our Occupier sustainability consulting practice in the Americas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in GHG accounting, sustainability analytics, ESG reporting, or similar.
• Strong understanding of GHG Protocol and Scope 1/2/3 accounting.
• Proficiency with GHG accounting platforms and Excel-based data models.
• Experience with large datasets, data validation, and audit processes.
• Ability to communicate technical data clearly to cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute enterprise-wide GHG accounting across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
• Collect, validate, and organize activity data from internal and third-party sources.
• Perform emissions calculations using standardized methodologies and tools, including Excel and GHG platforms.
• Maintain and update emission factors and documentation per GHG Protocol.
• Ensure data governance with controls, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation.
• Support annual engagement with external assurance providers.
• Assist in designing and improving GHG accounting systems, tools, and processes.
• Analyze emissions data and trends to inform decarbonization strategies.
