Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Department Manager to lead its Geotechnical Services in the Charlotte area. The role drives technical delivery, staffing, and client relationships while coordinating with BLE leadership to grow the practice.

The candidate will oversee subsurface exploration, QA/QC, and project reviews, ensuring profitability and high-quality client service in a demanding market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of geotechnical or geostructural engineering with project management.
• Experience in subsurface exploration, geotechnical analysis, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead BLE's Geotechnical Services Department for the Charlotte metro area.
• Oversee project delivery, staffing, budgets, and client service; align with Branch Manager and BD team.
• Provide technical leadership in design and construction and manage risk on projects.
