Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead geotechnical and geostructural projects in a dynamic engineering consulting environment. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients, and manage tasks from proposal through final invoicing, ensuring quality and profitability.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in geotechnical engineering, a PE license, and strong leadership, communication, and business development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in civil/geological engineering.
• P.E. license in the states you work, or ability to obtain by reciprocity within three months of hire date.
• 5+ years of related geotechnical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee geotechnical reports and geostructural designs from junior staff and meet deadlines.
• Manage geotechnical engineering projects including boring layouts, utility clearances, drill rigs, lab tests, and report prep.
• Oversee geostructural design projects (MSE walls, soil nails, piles, dewatering, etc.).
• Prepare and review proposals by junior staff.
• Oversee CMT projects with daily report reviews and mentor field staff.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical solutions as needed.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and coordinate with management on staffing.
• Collaborate with managers to support staffing decisions.
