Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in the United States seeks a Geotechnical Project Manager I to lead geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects from proposal to completion on lower-complexity assignments.

You will prepare reports, coordinate field activities, manage budgets, and support business development while mentoring junior staff and maintaining strong client relations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience.
• Bachelor/Master in Civil/Geological Engineering or geology.
• P.E. or P.G. preferred.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of geotechnical principles and ASTM standards.
• Ability to interpret field and laboratory testing results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations.
• Manage geotechnical and CMT projects: scheduling, execution, delivery.
• Review field reports for accuracy.
• Manage budgets, change orders, invoicing, and collections.
• Prepare geotechnical and CMT proposals.
• Oversee field activities and drilling operations.
• Coordinate with clients and project discussions.
• Mentor junior staff and field personnel.
• Support business development efforts.
