The Charlotte, NC area seeks a Civil/Geotechnical engineer with 2+ years of experience to support report preparation, manage CMT projects, and develop proposals. Mentorship and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
• 2+ year of related experience
• A professional license is not required in this position but is necessary to progress in your career.
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Support geotechnical report preparation, including analysis and recommendations.
• Manage CMT projects with daily report reviews and field staff training.
• Prepare geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage budgets, and prepare change orders and invoices.
• Assist with or perform drilling layouts, utility clearances, and site access evaluation.
• Supervise field crews and assist with rig access issues; perform in-situ testing.
