Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager with a focus on Power Generation and Transmission to join its national team. You will lead design, permitting, and client development efforts for diverse power projects, contributing to growth in the civil market.

You will supervise field investigations and manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules while mentoring staff and coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree with Geotechnical emphasis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
• 10+ years of geotechnical experience within energy discipline (power and transmission).
• 3+ years of field geotechnical investigations and construction observation experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses, structural design of pile elements and underpinning systems.
• Prepare technical documents and manage proposals, reports, and construction documents.
• Supervise field investigations, earthwork, and foundation construction activities.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Plan and develop budgets, prepare progress reports, change orders, invoices, and billings.
• Perform other duties as requested.
