Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager with a specialization in Power Generation and Transmission projects to join its collaborative national team. This individual will serve a key function in identifying and managing environmental/engineering projects and proposals, conducting engineering research and analysis, and supervising field investigations and laboratory analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of environmental engineering experience with a concentration in power generation projects.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Strong client, project, and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses for portions of environmental projects with focus on power generation and transmission.
• Identify and pursue new clients and develop work within projects.
• Provide oversight and management of junior staff; coach and motivate team.
• Supervise field activities and ensure data collection and lab analyses are accurate, on time, and within budget.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines; draft progress reports and invoices.
• Write and edit reports, drafts, and proposals.
• Coordinate work groups across offices and disciplines as needed.
• Interface professionally with clients, contractors, staff, and project personnel.
• Perform other duties as requested.
