Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals in Waterbury, CT, seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer Project Manager to lead a growing Connecticut office. The role emphasizes project leadership, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-quality geotechnical reports on complex building and infrastructure projects.

You will oversee investigations, coordinate field operations, develop scopes and budgets, and maintain client relationships.

Formación

• 10–20 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience preparing geotechnical reports for building and infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of foundations, settlement, subsurface investigations and geotechnical analysis.
• PE license preferred; Connecticut licensure can be obtained later if required.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage multiple geotechnical projects from proposal through completion.
• Prepare, review and sign-off geotechnical engineering reports.
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and field staff.
• Coordinate subsurface investigations and oversee field operations.
• Review geotechnical recommendations including foundations and slope stability.
• Develop project scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Maintain relationships with clients and support growth opportunities.
• Support recruitment and development of junior engineers.
