Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our Indianapolis team. You will lead geotechnical investigations for transportation, municipal, and other infrastructure projects, guiding field work, analyses, and reporting.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project management, and client interaction with growth opportunities in business development and industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; EIT certification required.
• 4+ years of civil engineering experience (geotechnical preferred).
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12–24 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead subsurface investigations, drilling, sampling, and field exploration.
• Develop geotechnical recommendations for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports and designs.
• Coordinate multiple projects with clients and teams.
• Support business development and client engagement.
