Job summary

Atlas, a leader in environmental and infrastructure consulting, seeks a Senior Geotechnical and Pavement Engineer to head projects in the Midwest. You will manage technical delivery, mentor staff, and build lasting client relationships while guiding design through construction.

Preferred candidates have 10+ years in geotechnical/pavement engineering, PE licensure in Indiana, and the ability to travel regionally for project support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
10+ years of geotechnical and pavement engineering experience preferred.
PE licensure in Indiana with ability to obtain licensure in other Midwest states.
Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead geotechnical and pavement engineering projects from planning to closeout.
Coordinate field explorations, testing, and analysis.
Prepare technical reports, design memoranda, and construction recommendations.
Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
