Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for a 100% remote role supporting our Midland, TX office. The position focuses on leading geotechnical work across renewables, data centers and industrial projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering technically sound solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of geotechnical experience, a Texas P.E. license (or the ability to obtain one), and a track record of managing complex projects with strong client communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Texas P.E. certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of geotechnical projects and manage planning, scheduling and coordination.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, environmental, MLT, and facilities teams to deliver integrated geotechnical solutions.
• Develop written proposals for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Oversee client relationships and provide technical leadership on regional energy and infrastructure projects.
