Terracon in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a senior-level geotechnical engineer to lead field investigations, analyses, and report preparation for diverse projects across public works, transportation, commercial, energy and industrial sectors. You will design and develop plans, review drawings for compliance, and communicate complex technical concepts to clients and project teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas PE or eligibility within six months, has 8–11 years of experience, and demonstrates

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Texas licensed PE preferred).
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical specialization.
• 8–11 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed PE in Texas or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety efforts and promote a safe work environment.
• Monitor and improve project quality standards.
• Ensure consistent quality in project and proposal delivery.
• Assess project risk and communicate policies.
• Provide technical direction for routine and complex projects.
• Conceive initial design/investigative approach for major project phase.
• Plan and coordinate engineering work with conventional and complex features.
• Review reports and supervise analysis and recommendations for clients.
• Lead training and support business development.
• Supervise junior engineers or technicians.
• Serve as Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
