Terracon is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for a remote, nationwide role within our Alternate Delivery organization. You will lead field investigations, perform engineering analyses, and develop plans and specifications for transportation projects across the United States.

The position emphasizes project management, technical leadership, and collaboration with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality geotechnical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; PE license preferred.
• Experience leading geotechnical investigations and design on transportation projects.
• Strong ability to manage large projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations, analyses, and design for transportation projects.
• Provide technical leadership and direction for project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Prepare and review reports, plans, and specifications for geotechnical work.
• Coordinate with accounting for financial management of projects and invoicing.
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance on complex problems.
