Terracon is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Texas to lead and execute a broad range of field investigations, analysis, and design work. You will guide technical direction, review reports, and ensure high-quality project delivery for diverse clients.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas PE license, 8–11 years of experience, and a Master’s in Civil Engineering. Expect on-site leadership, risk management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• 8–11 years of experience.
• Must be a licensed PE in Texas or able to obtain in 6 months.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable history may be required.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety efforts for team and ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Provide technical direction for production and completion of projects.
• Conceptualize initial design and investigative approaches for major project phases.
• Plan and coordinate engineering work involving conventional practices with complex features.
• Review projects for rigor and provide written reports to clients.
• Lead training, marketing, and business development efforts.
• Supervise junior engineers or technical staff on projects.
• Serve as Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
