GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Geotechnical Engineer 3 to support Power Generation and Infrastructure projects. Perform geotechnical design and field tasks under licensed supervision, with the option for remote or hybrid work.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, and a P.E. license; travel for fieldwork in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions is expected.

Formación

• Experience performing geotechnical investigations and designs for facilities (foundations, slopes, embankments, walls, pipelines).
• Ability to develop subsurface investigations, monitoring programs, and coordinate site characterization.
• Strong communication and ability to prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations and reports.

Responsabilidades

• Perform geotechnical engineering assignments including investigations and designs for foundations, bridges, retaining walls, pipelines, and landfills.
• Develop subsurface investigations and monitoring programs; install field instrumentation and sample selection for lab testing.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Provide geotechnical construction support, site inspections, logging, and interpretation of drawings and specifications.
• Travel for fieldwork, local or out-of-town, as needed.
