GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer 3 to join its Power Generation team on a range of infrastructure projects. The role involves geotechnical design tasks and field work under licensed supervision.

Based in one of GAI's offices, the position offers remote or hybrid work options. Requires a S. or M.S. in Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, 8+ years of related experience, and willingness to travel for fieldwork.

Qualifications

• S. or M.S. in Engineering is required.
• Geotechnical license (Professional Engineer) is required; reciprocity in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering assignments involving investigations and designs for foundations, slope stability, and earthworks.
• Develop subsurface investigations and monitoring programs; coordinate site characterization.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Conduct site inspections at power facilities and related sites; travel for fieldwork.
