Job summary

Braun Intertec in Fargo, ND seeks a senior geotechnical engineer to lead complex projects, provide technical leadership, and develop client relationships. You will mentor staff, review analyses, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across disciplines on challenging assignments.

Required are a civil/geotechnical degree, 15+ years in geotechnical consulting, and ND PE certification. Travel up to 25% across the United States is expected. A sign-on bonus up to $40,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering; MS/PhD desirable.
• 15 years geotechnical engineering experience in professional consulting; managing client relationships and developing business.
• ND PE Certification; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage highly complex projects and provide technical review and project management support.
• Prepare and decide on major proposals and contracts.
• Prepare complex engineering reports with opinions and geotechnical solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis using standard formulas and software.
• Interface with federal/state regulators on complex projects.
• Develop and deliver client presentations and assist with marketing.
• Oversee contracting with corporate legal support.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and face-to-face meetings.
• Coordinate project assignments within the discipline group.
• Review drawings and reports; identify complex problems and resolve.
