Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer 4 to lead complex geotechnical projects for Washington clients from our Seattle office. You will act as senior technical authority, mentor staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver value and technical excellence.

Active WA PE license is required; 16+ years of experience and a Master’s in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 16+ years of related professional experience.
• Active Professional Engineer license in Washington (WA PE).
• Experience leading complex geotechnical projects in Washington.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience developing geotechnical scopes, budgets, and proposals.
• Experience serving public- and private-sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead major consulting assignments in geotechnical engineering.
• Direct, coach, and support teams to execute multiple projects.
• Mentor staff and align teams with client objectives.
• Support proposal development, client relationships, and business development in WA.
• Contribute to the Seattle office's technical capabilities and market growth.
