Job summary

S&ME, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to drive growth of our geotechnical practice in Tampa and Central Florida. You will lead client relationships, guide projects from planning to delivery, and ensure safety, quality, and performance while mentoring staff.

You will need a PE license (or ability to obtain), 10+ years in geotechnical engineering, and strong communication and leadership skills. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and an ESOP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Mining, or related field.
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering and project management experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain.
• Proven success developing client relationships and driving business growth.
• Strong geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design expertise.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of geotechnical practice across Central Florida.
• Drive business development and secure impactful projects.
• Manage and oversee complex geotechnical projects from proposal to delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and trusted advisory on geotechnical conditions.
