Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates in State College, PA is seeking a mid to senior Geotechnical engineer to join our growing team. You will manage geotechnical projects from start to finish, prepare reports, cost estimates, and client communications. The role includes collaborating with colleagues across PA offices, traveling for short assignments, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

A B.S. in Civil Engineering (M.S.

• B.S. Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, MS preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in preparation of geotechnical reports.
• Strong knowledge of local geotechnical requirements.
• EIT or PE required.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to travel as needed.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Geotechnical Engineering projects from start to finish including reports.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, plans, specs and client correspondence.
• Provide geotechnical/technical support to other project managers/engineers in the region.
• Support other departments (CMT/Lab) as required.
• Maintain client satisfaction with thorough, professional service and clear communications.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met in all deliverables.
• Follow company safety and site safety standards.
