Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical concentration.
• 5–10+ years geotechnical engineering experience including analysis, report writing, and proposal preparation.
• Experience with geotechnical software such as gINT, SLIDE, SETTLE3, LPILE, ALLPILE, ReSSA, and LRFD design.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork including walking/climbing slopes and diverse terrains.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee geotechnical investigations.
• Develop subsurface investigation programs (borings, CPT, dilatometer, geophysics).
• Perform soil/rock engineering analyses for foundations, slope stability, and dewatering.
• Prepare geotechnical reports and construction documents.
• Support proposals and client communications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Conduct on-site geotechnical inspections during construction.
