Job summary

Mi-Tech Services Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in the Seattle area to design temporary and permanent structures for utility and heavy civil projects. You will develop submittals, coordinate shop drawings, and support bids while mentoring engineers.

You will collaborate with design and field teams and report to the Principal Engineer, applying your strong analytical and communication skills to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; 4–8 years of experience in design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering emphasized in structures preferred.
• Active Professional Engineer license in any state; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design a wide variety of temporary and permanent structures for utility, infrastructure and heavy civil projects.
• Develop calculation submittals and shop drawings; coordinate design with field teams.
• Support project pursuits and bids through evaluations and analyses; mentor other engineers.
• Provide support to the Principal Engineer and collaborate with design and field teams.
