Job summary

GeoEngineers is seeking a Project Geostructural / Geotechnical / Structural Engineer in the Seattle area to deliver practical designs for excavation support, deep foundations, and construction staging. You will work on challenging, buildable solutions while collaborating with contractors, geotechnical teams, and design-build partners.

You will contribute to design, analyses, and drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, and grow technical depth under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of related professional experience
• PE license required
• Flexibility across geotechnical and structural domains
• Experience with geotechnical/structural software such as MathCAD, RISA, Tedds, Civil 3D, Plaxis, CLiq, CPeT-IT, SHAFT, APile, or GeoStudio Suite
• Experience with driven pile, drilled shaft or small-diameter pile/anchor testing
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Design geo-structural solutions including excavation support systems, ground improvement, retaining walls, work staging plans, access trestles, deep foundations.
• Perform structural and geotechnical analyses (steel/design, deep foundations, slope stability, ground improvement).
• Develop project drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve technical issues and ensure constructability.
• Prepare memos, calculation packages, and reports; review others’ deliverables.
• Support project management tasks: budgeting, field report reviews, proposals, RFIs, client meetings.
