Mi-Tech Services, Inc. in White Plains, NY is seeking a Senior Geostructural Engineer (geotechnical or structural emphasis) to advance innovative designs for earth retaining structures, deep foundations, and ground improvement.

You will develop calculations, prepare submittals, and collaborate with design and field teams, while mentoring junior staff. The role requires PE licensure, 4+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and geostructural software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with geotechnical/structural emphasis
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in any state
• 4+ years of experience in earth retaining structures, deep foundations, or ground improvement
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD
• Experience with geostructural design software (e.g., Shoring Suite, SNAIL, DeepEx, Ensoft, Rocscience, PLAXIS)
• Knowledge of AISC, ACI, AASHTO codes

Responsibilities

• Develop calculation submittals and design/shop drawings
• Coordinate development of design for projects and bids
• Support project pursuits with preliminary evaluations and analyses
• Mentor other engineers and coordinate with design and field teams
• Travel is not a routine requirement
