Job summary

Leidos seeks a User Engagement Engineer SME on the Chinook Program to bridge mission users and technical teams, delivering geospatial intelligence solutions that are intuitive and effective.

You will lead user engagement strategies, train users, gather feedback, and translate needs into system requirements while partnering with intelligence stakeholders, engineers, and product managers. This role requires US citizenship, TS clearance eligibility, and a focus on enterprise impact.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required for the contract.
• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/Geospatial IT) or Master’s with relevant experience.
• 8+ years in user engagement or geospatial intelligence, preferably with gov/IC customers.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial systems and mapping tools.
• Experience in user training, engagement, and support within complex environments.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of user engagement strategies for geospatial intelligence solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, mission owners, and technical teams to understand workflows.
• Design and deliver user training, workshops, and sessions for diverse users.
• Gather, analyze, and act on user feedback to drive improvements and new features.
• Advocate for human-centered design and a superior user experience.
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and operational evaluations.
• Translate user needs into system requirements and functional improvements.
• Create user documentation and FAQs to assist users.
