Job summary

Leidos is seeking a User Engagement Engineer SME on the Chinook Program to bridge user needs with technical teams, ensuring geospatial intelligence solutions are intuitive and effective for mission users.

You will collaborate with Intelligence Community stakeholders, engineers, developers, and leaders across Gaithersburg, MD; Alexandria, Chantilly, Englewood, and other sites to translate requirements into usable system capabilities, deliver training, and drive user adoption.

Qualifications

US citizenship is required per contract.
Bachelor’s or Master’s with extensive experience in geospatial intelligence and user engagement.
8+ years of experience in user engagement or geospatial intelligence.
Strong knowledge of geospatial systems, mapping tools, and data.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of user engagement strategies for geospatial intelligence within Chinook.
Collaborate with stakeholders, mission owners, and technical teams to understand requirements.
Design and deliver user training and workshops for diverse user levels.
Gather user feedback and translate into system improvements.
Coordinate UAT and acceptance testing.
Track engagement metrics and report KPIs.
