Job summary

Leidos is seeking a User Engagement Engineer SME for the Chinook Program. You will bridge mission users and technical teams to deliver intuitive geospatial intelligence solutions, shaping features with user feedback and operational requirements.

The role emphasizes training, stakeholder collaboration, and leading adoption across enterprise environments in a secure IC context. Primary location includes Gaithersburg, MD.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geospatial Science, IT or related field with extensive experience.
• 8+ years in user engagement or geospatial intelligence in enterprise or IC environments.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial systems and mapping tools.
• Experience delivering user training and support in complex tech environments.
• Excellent stakeholder relationships and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead user engagement strategies to boost adoption of geospatial solutions.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to translate needs into solutions.
• Design and deliver user training, workshops, and sessions for varied audiences.
• Gather user feedback and drive system improvements and feature requests.
• Support Agile ceremonies and coordinate UAT and evaluations.
• Prepare user documentation and FAQs to assist users.
