Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks an innovative software developer to create and maintain geospatial content-processing tools for terrain, imagery, vectors, and 3D models. You will boost Modeling workflow efficiency and manage storage, conversion, and optimization pipelines for large datasets used in simulation and geospatial apps.

Responsibilities include end-to-end development, collaboration in an agile team, and applying graphics and GIS expertise with modern tooling within a aviation training

Qualifications

• Computer Science degree and 5+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in C++ or C# and data structures/algorithms.
• Experience with geospatial formats and graphics pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain geospatial content-processing software.
• Build tools for terrain, imagery, vector data, and 3D-model workflows.
• Create processes that improve Modeling team efficiency and reduce errors.
• Implement data storage, conversion, and optimization pipelines.
