Bart & Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Geospatial Data Analyst to transform geospatial data into accurate, visually effective cartographic products for a federal program.

You will manage workflows with FME, analyze data with QGIS, and ensure high-quality map production across vector, raster, elevation, and imagery datasets. The role starts remotely and will shift to onsite support based on program needs, requiring strong attention to detail and collaborative communication with government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related technical field is required.
• 10+ years of professional geospatial experience in data analysis, GIS operations, data integration, or related work.

Responsabilités

• Transform geospatial datasets into accurate, readable cartographic products per specifications and standards.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot FME workflows to transform, validate, and integrate geospatial information from multiple sources.
• Use QGIS to perform spatial analysis, create maps, manage geospatial layers, and produce effective cartographic products for diverse audiences.
• Apply cartographic symbolization and portrayal rules to represent features by type, attribution, scale, and product use.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, project managers, and government stakeholders to deliver timely geospatial and cartographic products.
