Job summary

Avid Core LLC seeks a Geospatial Management Analyst to support a federal government client in Washington, DC. The role focuses on leveraging GIS to support national security operations and field activities onsite at DC facilities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of GIS experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, familiarity with Power BI tools, and strong data analysis skills. Telework may be considered with government approval based on mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS or related field.
• 3+ years GIS experience supporting a public sector client.

Responsibilities

• Supports government operations to perform geographic information system activities; requirements analysis and development; support field activities; and ancillary activities required to acquire and deploy equipment and maintain facilities.
• Supports the creation and maintenance of both static and web-based GIS solutions
• Perform complex analysis and mapping projects to support national security operations
• Extract, transform, and load data into GIS databases
• Work independently to develop GIS tools and applications, perform complex analyses, and develop multi-layered maps using GIS tools and other programming environments
• Support development of Sharepoint, PowerBI tools, and informational databases.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned
