Job summary

Actalent is seeking a remote contractor for imagery analysis and geospatial data extraction tasks based in the United States. The role focuses on preparing feature data from satellite imagery and digital mapping with emphasis on quality and timeliness.

The ideal candidate will have a Geography/GIS background, strong communication, and be comfortable working in a fully remote team to meet project goals through 2025.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Geography, GIS, or related field with multiple GIS courses or equivalent GIS experience.
• Experience in imagery analysis, feature data extraction from satellite imagery, and digital mapping.
• Must be U.S. citizens.

Responsibilities

• Sitting in front of a computer viewing imagery and collecting topographic features such as roads, rivers, buildings, etc.
• Complete tasks within estimated hours and meet quality standards.
• Work with an all-remote team to meet project goals.
