Job summary

Woolpert is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Atlas Labs team in the Geospatial sector in the United States. You will contribute to planning, design, development, and testing of Atlas Labs features, primarily in Python, with potential C++/JavaScript work.

You will work in a cross-functional Scrum team with AI/ML, GIS, and Software Engineering experts, collaborating with users to ensure quality and availability of products. The role requires work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Commercial software product experience.
• Production Python coding experience, preferably with large datasets.
• Domain experience in Geospatial data processing / AI & Machine Learning.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and GitHub; cloud platforms like Azure/AWS/Google.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, research, design, architecture, development, and testing of Atlas Labs software features.
• Write code daily in Python with possible C++/JavaScript, within a Scrum team.
• Collaborate with internal/external users to ensure quality and availability of Atlas Labs software.
